MyWork is a comprehensive work measuring tool that allows you to plan and measure the productivity of each staff against actual hours spent on each project. MyWork enables every organization to become more systematic and plan in advance about resource availability. This has the facility to create a project along with start-date, end-date, planned hours and billable hours. Once the project is created, we have to allocate a delivery/project manager along with resources for the time frame defined. The project will be divided into modules and each module is further divided into tasks. Each task can have complexity along with priority. Once the setup is done, the resources of the project will keep updating the status of each task along with actual hours
spent. Once the projects are defined, the company can track its resources either weekly/bi-weekly or monthly/quarterly basis. MyWork also allows capturing the salary details of each employee along with administrative over heads. Also, few of the administrative resources can be marked as non-billable so that their salaries will be treated as part of administrative expenses.
With this we can calculate man hour rate of the resource as well as the project cost. It can also provide exhaustive comparison analysis report project wise to monitor how each project is under profit/loss. Also, this tool can be used for performance appraisal of the resource as it can provide a detail report of each resource working over last six or twelve months projects and its current status. It also provides whether the resource is on leave or on bench.
It also has built-in security module where by each employee can login and their access is restricted based on the role defined by the administrator. There will be different roles like Management, HR, Project Leader, Team Leader and Team Member. The access rights of each role can be configured as
per the rules of that company. With this tool, the Human Resource department can have view of load factor of their resources. They can view and plan
how the entire resources are loaded in each of the project and how many people are on bench currently.
